Elaine Geoghegan was found face down in a pond in her back garden on 12 August 2019.
The police were called to her home at 10.40am. She was declared dead at the scene.
A 71-year-old man from Market Harborough was arrested on suspicion of her murder but was later released after it was heard that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a criminal inquiry. He had been arrested in November 2020 following a police investigation.
Her post mortem gave her cause of death as unexplained.
A detective said, 'This has been a complex case which has been fully investigated over the past two years to establish the circumstances of Mrs Geoghegan's death. Following these enquiries, a man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has now been released with no further action'.
